Dirty South Kitchen is a one of a kind food truck in Austin, TX, serving elevated Cajun cuisine to curb your hunger on the curb. Quite the delicious feat, if we do say so ourselves, and even moreso when you consider the background of the foodies themselves. Chef De served in the army, but soon after decided to pursue his culinary dreams at Le Cordon Bleu. There, he met Deepak Patel, and brainstormed a soul food truck with gourmet flair. While Chef De cooked all over NOLA, including a stint as the sous chef for MasterChef Top 5 finalist Christian Green, the plan came together, and the pair never looked back. Now, Dirty South Kitchen is giving ATX that southern style food on the go. From their signature chipotle fried chicken bacon sandwich to the hearty Granny's Bowl with a gigantic buttery biscuit in savory sausage gravy with crispy chicken, rest assured you'll get your fill here.
